Swiss Red Cross is working in Romania since 1989 and established in 2005 the Foundation for Family Health and Community Development - FSM.
focus.dh is the ‘sister‘ organization in the Republic of Moldova supported by FSM and cooperating with other Moldavian organizations and the authorities.
FSM & focus.dh are committed to:
- Support self-help and the participation of all community members for the development of their community.
- Promote the Health of Families and all community members: Children, Youth, Women, Men.
- Advocate the care for elderly and chronically ill at home and support home care assistance.
- Raise awareness for gender issues and inequalities and take action against Domestic Violence.
